Topic 6 - Bubble Science

 Task 1 science behind the bubbles

Bubbles are a really thin layer of soap and water

Outer layer: soap

middle layer: water

Inner layer: soap

Bubble wand 

Bubble sandwich 

Air
Bubbles always stay like a circle even if the wand is a different shape


Task 2 watch video about bubble tricks

Caterpillar: get a straw and blow bubbles on top of each other

The carousel: two medium size bubble and little bubbles around it

 The cube: blow two medium sized bubbles and four same sized seats, (medium) around. Straw in the middle and blow to create a cube

Preparing bubble-making liquid 


Purpose: prepare bubble-making liquid following a tried-and-true recipe 

Equipment: a set of scales, 250ml beaker, a calibrated syringe, a stirring rod

Ingredients: table sugar, glycerol, kitchen detergent, water  


Method: Fill the 250 ml beaker, that is measure 125 mls water. Weigh 5 grams of sugar. Measure 3 mls of glycerol and add to the solution. Mix it all together and blow the bubbles slowly and gentle  .



Hello everyone so this is what I did at tech on Thursday. We made some bubbles out of table sugar, glycerol, kitchen detergent, and water. There are so photos below .Thank you for looking at my blog bye!
